GROWTH STARTS WITH UNDERSTANDING, CHANGE AND ACTION.  PRAYING FOR INSTRUCTIONS FROM GOD TO MAKE A NEW LIFE FOR YOU!

The Importance Of Forgiveness

Inspirations by Larry is a collection of challenging test that i had to face, in order to live, and to preserve my life. Learning to understand and adjust to issues we face as men and women. I am  a Christian and the son of the Late Evangelist Ethel Bernice Reeves.  She taught me that no matter what challenges you face in life, trust God. No matter how life challenges you always keep your faith in the heavenly father. I have taken all the challenges of my life to realize that I needed to change and grow in many areas, for a better life.

After seeing my mother die of Cancer and almost losing my own life several times within one year.  On September 3rd in 2014 I suffered a double brain Aneurysm, which was the beginning phase of almost losing my life several times.  After I had been plagued with a double Aneurysm I had to be rushed into surgery to repair the two ruptured veins in my  brain. Immediately after the veins burst I immediately  began to pray and I asked Jesus to spare my life.  Not fully understanding what had taken place at that time. I was very dizzy and could only see electric storms resembling electricity and lightening in my head.

During this year I was also struck with two Epileptic Seizures that almost cost me my life.  Also my Kidneys had failed and eventually returned back to normal.  I lost weight rapidly and was constantly dizzy and sickly.  My weight went from 205 (lbs) down to 166(lbs).

Many people I loved and trusted including family members were extremely mean and turned their backs on me. Some of the people who attacked me were people that I have helped when I was healthy and strong.  Nonetheless, I continued to trust God for all my  needs.  I learned no matter how you feel God is always on time.

Despite the pain and troubles I continued to trust in God while encouraging others during this tough process.  As I was sick when family kicked me out of houses and cursed me out.  They tried to do so many dirty things  to me as I tried to recover.  I, just kept my faith and ignored the negativity. I, focused on  recovery and kept trusting God. The Devil had attacked me with so much torment and afflictions.  I, was extremely grateful and  thankful for God's hedge of protection over my life.

However, God’s hand, mercy, and grace were upon in an extraordinary way.  I. constantly thanked God for his love. I, was discharged from the Hospital after a 30 day stay. When I got out of the hospital I asked my father for help. He responded in a cold manner and said I can’t help you.

Through it all God’s mercy continued to be upon me.  The trials God has brought me through have been remarkable. I have taken the great lessons of God and put them into a Website.  In 2015 I setup this Website to share my testimony and inspiration for all of God’s children. www.Inspirationsbylarry.com is a Website where we all can learn and grow. Where we can acknowledge how merciful God is.

I hope this information changes your life and opens up your heart to understanding, faith and how to trust in the one and only true God Jesus Christ.  I hope that you are blessed by this message of faith, trust, change and understanding.  Please feel free to leave a comment below on how this testimony has helped you understand and look at life from a different perspective.  Thanks again.

The Importance Of Forgiveness

After some time, I realized that it was important for me to forgive others. Including, friends and family members that kicked me when I was down. Also, others that told lies and false allegations against me. I have learned that even when forgiveness is hard it is necessary for growth. With forgiveness, you can open a new area of understanding in life. We have all done wrong and said words that we regret and need to be forgiven of. So who am I not to forgive? I am thankful that I am in a mindset of forgiveness. I will not forget the tough challenges that I experienced. However, I realized that I still had to forgive others as God has forgiven me.

In 2018 my father and I, reconciled and opened the doors of forgiveness, love and respect for each other.  I, love my father dearly and God has made the connection better than before.  Never give up on love.  God loves us all.  Thank you Jesus.

THE PASSING OF MY DAUGHTER

I was traumatized by the loss of my daughter. On April 11 in 2016 early in the day I spoke to my daughter on the phone and my grandson earlier in the day.  We were laughing and joking and having having a good time and then when I tried to reach her later she didn't answer the phone. So later on that night my sister called me and told me that she was in a car accident.  My sister said  she was being taken to the hospital my grandson was in the backseat and his leg was broken So when she let me know that I was troubled.  Then the next morning I got a call that she was she was brain dead.  When i heard this information and I  I just fell on the ground crying feeling terrible.

I had to be rushed to the emergency room because I could barely talk I ended up staying overnight in the hospital to get the medication and the health care I needed. The next morning against doctors advice I left the hospital and got a plane ticket to go to Boston. I was just ready to be there for my daughter in anyway even with my present health condition.

I flew to Boston and went to the hospital there was a lot of family members around.  She was unconscious and they were talking about pulling the life-support.  I was against it so we went to the hospital day after day praying and hoping  her condition would improve. As we cried and sobbed and prayed nothing changed.   I holding  my daughters hand rubbing her arms crying.  Her heart stopped and it was just so painful so painful and so many other levels it's indescribable to lose a child she was only 22 years old.

She was in college and just received her associates degree.  She also was studying to be a paralegal.  She was doing a great job as a young mother and for herself.  When we lost it was really traumatizing that words can't explain. I love my daughter and my grandson, he went into surgery to fix his broken leg.  He went to the hospital and I was rubbing his little head and he was smiling and was happy to see me.   When the family had to let them know that his mother passed away and he put his head down. Those are the things that I had to deal with when I was in Boston.  I hurt for my daughter everyday.  The pain is indescribable.  I am not angry with God.  I know that one day we will all pass away.  I believe that no matter what you go through in life God always deserves respect and appreciation.  The family is moving forward raising her son and cherishing we the great times we had with her.  Through it all I will still praise God.

LIVING IN A HOMELESS SHELTER

After all my medical issues and my daughter passing  away.  I decided to go to Atlanta and listen to what God told me to do.  Finally realizing that when he told me to go to Atlanta and preach in 2014 was in my best interest overall.  I was told to go to Atlanta before the aneurysm and my many  health issues, but I was afraid, it didn't make sense to me. I didn't want to be a preacher but after everything I went through I realized what do I got to lose.

I booked a plane ticket that my sister Tina bought for me. I packed my bags light because I didn't  know if they want to charge extra for baggage fees. So I just got on a plane to Atlanta my sister bought me.  I went to Atlanta on faith with one bag and 30 dollars.  I had to understand  that it was my time to be obedient to my calling.  I went down to Atlanta without a place to stay.   My friend allowed me to stay with him for about three weeks and then after that time was up they dropped me off at the homeless shelter in Marietta Georgia.

The first night I wasn't able to get into the shelter so I went to an emergency room hospital and sat in the lobby with my bag. The second day I went to the shelter to try to get in but they still didn't have any beds available.  So that night I slept by the highway close to the shelter.   I was in the bushes and it was raining and I looked up at the sky and what  have I done to deserve this.  Now I'm here trying to listen to what you told me to do and I am homeless. on Saturday highway in the rain so on the third day I was able to get into the shelter.  I was able to shower and get  a warm bed to sleep in.   It really made a big difference that God had people in position to help me do what he told me to do, and that is preach.

When it was time to leave the shelter I was afraid.  I thought I would die in the woods.  I was weak, sickly and had only a little strength.  I spoke with the staff and they were able to help me because they respected me and didn't want to see my suffer.  The ministry allowed me housing to stabilize.  Now I have a place to stay and a car.  It's so amazing how God works.  He will take the most painful experiences and turn them into blessings.  My focus is studying in the ministry so I can preach.  I have also acquired my ministry license to preach.  The best is yet to come and I will continue to trust the Lord though it all.

GOING from pain to promotion

Blessed at Zero.  At least from zero you can start anew.  At least you know where you are.  Some  don't have the choice or chance to start over from zero anymore.  Examples are death, incarceration or sickness.

Sometimes people closest to you can't appreciate who you are because they don't know themselves. So how can they know who you are?

recognizing growth through the struggle OF LIFE.

The seeds you sow at the lowest point in your life, will be very important for you future.

God did not give us life so we can live in lack.  We have chosen to live without.  Prayer equals positioning.  Positioning equals peace.

KEEP THE FAITH AND TRUST in GOD NO MATTER WHAT YOU FACE.

The strength of a man or woman cannot be determined by their outer  appearance.  However, by his or her resilience, persistence and commitment they shall be known.

YOU CAN LEARN HOW TO ENJOY YOUR LIFE. UNDERSTANDING IS THE KEY FOR GROWTH BEYOND THE ORDINARY.

THE LATE GREAT EVANGELIST ETHEL BERNICE REEVES 2/05/1952 - 11/14/2010

Ethel Bernice Reeves was born in Orville, Alabama, near Selma, on February 5, 1952.  Her parents were Eliza Reeves and Van Green.  She was the 13th of 14 children born to her parents.  Ethel attended Hudson High School in Selma, Alabama.
In October of 1968 at age 16 Ethel, along with her young daughter Cassandra, moved to Boston, Massachusetts.  She obtained her Switchboard Operators certificate from OIC in Roxbury and worked at various hospitals in the Boston area including New England Baptist Hospital, Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.  Ethel also obtained her Paralegal certificate from Blackstone School of Law.  Although Ethel has an extensive work history, her title of choice is Evangelist.  She was baptized in 1987 after joining Straight Gate Apostolic Church in Dorchester.
Ethel loved the Lord and everyone who knew her could depend on getting good food and prayer from her.  She would feed you spiritually and physically. She devoted her entire life to loving and nurturing her five children, grandchildren, and others, always giving the Word of God to everyone and strengthening their faith.
One of her proudest accomplishments was working for Trinity Broadcasting Network as a Prayer Warrior in Atlanta, Georgia.  She spoke with numerous individuals and encouraged them with the Word of God.  By God’s grace, Ethel even stopped someone from committing suicide just by talking to them over the phone.  Yes, she was very special!
Although Mom had humble beginnings coming from poverty and the cotton fields of Alabama, she was rich in so many ways.  Her spiritual insight , words of wisdom, and her ability, by the Holy Spirit, to understand and teach the Word of God rivaled and surpassed some of the most educated scholars.
She found true joy in talking to people about the Word of God.  She has made an impact in many peoples lives for the Kingdom of God, and she will be missed dearly.

My Baptism at Morning Star Baptist Church.  Mattapan, Massachusetts.  June 3rd 2016.

I have had the pleasure of sharing a simular testimony with my new friend larry. I have too suffored great tragety in my life in 2007 is where it all began. I was 30 years old and I had a daughter it took me almost 7yrs to even consider having a baby but never could I imagine the firery trial ahead of me I was 42 @ a half weeks now if u do the math 40 weeks is full term so I was 2 weeks over due I finally had to get induced complications arised my daughter heart rate dropped due to the stress of the delivery so they got her out immediately. After staying in the hospital several days I get home. I am awakened by the worst headache my life screaming ti the top of my lungs My head My head belp me my childrens father to be at the time right next to me didnt even here me be slept so hard but it was my first born who is now 18 that stepped in and got help one blood vessel had already burst in my brain but thank God the big one happened in a place where they were able to figure iut what to do with me next. It was mercy General that saved my life and unfortunately im not able to rename any doctors that were present on my behalf but the saved my life you hear me it was a long trial I could not talk write spell read write remember none of my kids neither all that got erased. Even the fact my mother I wanted to see that passed in 2006 I was asking for her because my memory erased her death so I had to painfully relive losing my mother and that was one of the hardest things for me to do. But to God be the glory

'The more time you spend and commit to God, is the more you will understand his works. For each morning you wake you must put God 1st. Positive Changes (bring fourth) Positive Results

    Mr. Larry,

Good morning, it was a pleasure to see you on yesterday. You look great and well rested. I certainly appreciate you sharing your card with me so I could check out your website. What a great testimony about the goodness of the Lord and how he has blessed, guided, and kept you. We all have testimonies that we should share with others so that those who are lost will seek and find the Lord. They will know that the Lord is rel and that what he has done for you and me, he can and will do the same for them. Continue to let the Lord us you as you share and spread the message of the Lord. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you.

Larry this has been such an inspiration to m as well as many others I'm sure, no no surprise coming fromvthe Master Mind of Larry Reeves. You are so smart, so intelligent and so talented and God have a Plan for you. I remember I wrote the song "God Has a Plan" for FYM ..and God definitely has a plan for Larry Reeves. I also remember when I shared my Song .."Family" with you..you said it inspires You and at the same time You inspired me. Your Mom was also a great inspiration to anyone who had the opportunity to meet or know her. Your sister Cassandra and your entire family were always inspiring to me. May God Continue to Bless you in all Your Endeavors.

    Respectfully
